Rally World

Rally is feitelijk de oudste vorm van autosport.

De meeste bekende rally is de Rally van Monte Carlo. De huidige vorm van de rally werd midden jaren’60 gevormd.

Begin 70 deed onder een nieuw type rallywagen zijn intrede. Onder het groep 4 en 5 reglement verschenen wagens die niet langer op productiemodellen leken. Bekend voorbeeld is de Lancia Stratos. De groep 4 werd 1982 opgevolgd door de groep-B die ook wel bekend stond als Formule 1 door de bossen.

De collectie laat een beeld zien van 1965 t/m 1986 (het jaar dat de B-groep verboden werd).

Rallly is the oldest form of carsport.

The most wellknown rally’s are the RAC and the Monte Carlo rally.

In the early seventy’s appeared a new kind of rallycar. These cars were build under the group 4 and 5 rules and have just slide recemblance with productioncars. The best known example was the Lancia Stratos.

The group 4 and 5 became later the famous group-B, witch also was known as Formula one trough the woods.
